Yo, Love and Light Series fam, can we talk? WE HIT 100 SUBSCRIBERS EARLIER THIS YEAR, and I’m only just now screaming about it! 🎉

A hundred of you legends decided my rants are worth your time, and I’m beyond gassed. But, true to Temsbaby form, life threw me a curveball, and I owe y’all a proper rant about why this post is so late. Buckle up.

So, picture this: I’m vibing in Lagos, celebrating my 100-subscriber milestone like the big deal it is. Then, BAM—my phone decides to have a midlife crisis. Every draft, every blog idea, every scrap—gone. Wiped out. Poof. Just like that. And this is happening while I’m trying to prep for NYSC camp. Talk about bad timing! I was gutted, fam. Starting from scratch with my blog while packing for camp? Let’s just say I was one meltdown away from yeeting that phone into the Lagos Lagoon.

Fast forward, I survive camp, get posted to a hospital in Abeokuta for my service year, and I’m finally settling into this new Abeokuta life. The move from Lagos to Abeokuta? A whole vibe shift. No more late-night suya runs, but I’m hunting for the best suya spots here (hit me up if you know any).

Through all that chaos—phone crashes, camp madness, and relocating—I let this 100-subscriber celebration slide. Rude of me, I know, but we’re here now!Hitting 100 means the world to me. It’s not just a number—it’s 100 of you riding with my unfiltered rants about life, love, and chasing my dreams of being a writer (Still manifesting that Netflix deal, by the way).

And speaking of what’s next—drumroll, please—I’m working on a BRAND-NEW SERIES for the blog! I won’t spill all the tea yet, but let’s just say it’s gonna be a wild ride, packed with the kind of raw, real stories you love from me. It’s been brewing in my head for a while now, and I can’t wait to share it. Stay tuned, fam.
